Hello BRMBA Members,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to again thank all Players, Parents, Coaches and Umps for making the best of our 2020 season! Fingers are crossed that things return to normal for our 2021 season!

A few important Fall items:

BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS

Our Board of Directors continues to evolve each year. We thank those who are departing for their dedication and time they have spent helping the organization! The following positions will be up for election at this years AGM on Oct 26th. These positions are 2 year terms:

  • Director (3)
  • Vice President (1)
  • Secretary (1)

To be successful, you need to be interested in continuing to move things forward for the good of the entire organization. You need to be progressive and think beyond teams winning baseball games and championships. We need to build on our success and keep pushing forward in the right way.

General duties are outlined in our constitution which can be found on-line, but in general, our board members participate in all BRMBA functions. They are involved in fundraising, special events, tournament organization, concessions, registrations, and many other functions. Board meetings are generally held the 3rd Monday of every month and attendance is expected to vote on any items affecting the organization.

If you are interested, please submit your letter of intent to Geoff Stephenson: geoff.stephenson@brmba.ca. We ask that letters be in by Sat, October 24th @ 7pm.

From there, elections will happen at our AGM on Oct 26th.
